Malik Salaam is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA. His early exposure to television was as a poet, with his writing featured on HBO, BETJ, and The Black Family Channel. A self-taught auteur, Malik has created a body of work that uses the moving picture to explore the intricacies of Blackness.

Tommy Bottoms has created a lane at the intersection of entertainment and politics, with his HBO featured poem gaining over 18 million views. As a producer he has used his platform to create podcasts, live shows, and theatre. In addition to producing, Tommy is also the co-writer for Spring & 3rd.

Derrick “Abyss” Graham is a pillar in Atlanta’s entertainment scene. As a Peabody Award winning poet, he has used his influence to curate a myriad of artistic events in the city.  Abyss’ experience in front of the camera and behind the scenes includes tv sitcoms and performance appearances for major networks like BET and HBO.

Kemi Bennings is a creative professional with 20 years of experience in designing, producing, and promoting live entertainment, curated events and cultural programming that integrates art, music and civic engagement in an effort to impact and inspire social change.
